Hemp protein powder is a wonderful source of many essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fibre and chlorophyll.

Protein is the body’s most essential macronutrient, but is all too often sourced from animal products which can be irritable to the human body and inhumanly sourced.

The hemp plants are harvested when they reach sixteen weeks as the mature seeds will have started to sprout. Once harvested, the raw seeds are cleaned and carefully sieved before being pressed. The oil this releases is then filtered off to leave the solid protein, which will be dried and then milled. Due to the simple extraction method uses, none of the commonly used solvent chemicals are required.

PROVENANCE

All of the ingredients are sourced from certified organic suppliers with exceptional fair-trade standards and ethics. Fair-trade plantations provide vital employment to many local people, especially women, who can work close to home and get paid a fair living wage. The hemp seeds used to create the powder is produced in the optimum soil and production conditions that it requires to be at it's best quality. The hemp seeds are grown in Romania.
